The Monday Mix Vol. 11 “Jeremiah’s Noise”
To go along with last monday’s mix, here is a random sample of some bands that I would discribe as angsty/downer/harsh noise which is a style I really enjoy. I am a negative person at heart and I like the bands that sound like they could be played in a small, dark, factory and their tension comes from that feeling of being a little too destroyed. I didn’t try to stay away from some of the larger names in this style (ie Merzbow, Wolf eyes) and I realize I left some big ones out (ie John Wiese, KK Null), but I think its a good collection of tracks. Also this mix shows my love of noisy stuff when it has some sort of feedback/distortion element tying it down to a burned out circut.
